ช่วงนี้ iPhone  แรง มาก ๆ ครับ ขายดีทั้งฮาร์ดแวร์ ซอฟต์แวร์ โดยเฉพาะซอฟต์แวร์ดนตรีนั้น ค่ายใหญ่อย่าง iZotope เริ่มส่ง iDrum ลงไปประกวดกับเค้าบ้าง โดยเน้นการใช้งานร่วมกับตัว Desktop App

เข้าเรื่องเลยดีกว่า DIY ทำ blog ใหม่ล่าสุด foot on the wood  สำหรับขาบอร์ดล้วนๆ

 หน้าตาคงจะเปลี่ยนให้ unique เหมือน blog เก่า http://footonthewood.wordpress.com/ เร็ว ๆ นี้ แวะไปรับฟีดกันได้ครับ

Audio Damage Automaton : Game of Life + Glitch

สำหรับผมแล้ว การนำ Game of Life มาเชื่อมโยงกับ Groove Box จนเกิดเป็น Nu School  (Reaktor Instrument) ถือเป็นอะไรที่น่าตื่นเต้นในคราวแรกแล้ว ไม่เคยคิดว่าจะมีใครใช้ Game of Life มาเชื่อมโยงกับดนตรีได้สนุกเท่านี้อีก

 Automaton  ของ Audio Damage ออกมาช้ากว่าถึง 3 ปีเลยครับ แม้จะมีจุดแตกต่างจาก Nu School อยู่หลายอย่าง เพราะมีจุดประสงค์ให้ใช้งานได้กว้างกว่า แต่ก็ยังต้องรอใเห้เห็นใช้งานแบบ Creative use ว่าจะเป็นไปได้อย่างไรบ้าง  นอกจากปล่อยให้ GoL มารันพารามิเตอร์ต่าง ๆ ของเอฟเฟกต์ไปเรื่อย ๆ อย่างในวิดีโอชุดนี้ นำ Automaton สร้าง Glitch Effect 

แม้ไม่อาจทำให้ผมต้องยอมควักเงินซื้อได้ทันที แต่ก็ถือว่าเป็นความพยายามที่จะสร้างอะไรใหม่ ๆ ให้กับวงการ Audio Plugin ครับ แม้ว่าAutomaton น่าจะออกมาเร็วกว่านี้ 3 ปีก็ตาม
